Key Responsibilities
- Accurately document patient medical histories
- Measure and record vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate
- Monitor patient conditions and track progress, noting any side effects from treatments
- Assist patients with essential daily activities such as eating and bathing
- Administer prescribed medications, injections, and perform basic medical care tasks, including wound care
- Offer emotional and psychological support to patients as needed
- Strong observational skills to assess patient conditions
- Compassionate approach to patient care
- Ability to accurately record medical information
- Proficiency in assisting patients with daily activities
- Knowledge of medication administration and wound care
- Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Missouri or Illinois
- Open to new graduates or individuals transitioning into private duty nursing, with no previous experience required
