Key Responsibilities
- Accurately document patients’ medical histories
- Measure and record vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate
- Monitor patient progress and report on treatment outcomes and side effects of medications
- Track fluid intake and output while maintaining comprehensive patient charts
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as eating and bathing
- Administer prescribed medications and injections, tend to wounds, and provide essential medical care
- Offer emotional and psychological support as required
- Strong clinical and patient care expertise
- Excellent communication abilities
- Capacity to observe and evaluate patients’ conditions
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to care
- Team-oriented with a positive demeanor
- Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- No prior experience in pediatric or private duty nursing is necessary; passion for quality patient care is essential
- Completion of an accredited LPN program
