Job Title: Lead Research and Development Engineer
This role involves leading the development of advanced battery systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and qualify batteries according to customer specifications.
Main Responsibilities
- Design and Development: Develop and implement design concepts for battery systems, considering factors such as safety, performance, and cost.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with engineering teams, technicians, and customers to execute and deliver existing and new products.
- Process Development and Execution: Plan, develop, and execute Design of Experiment (DOE) for fabrication and testing of batteries, ensuring high-quality results.
- Qualifications and Requirements: Evaluate and select qualified vendors and suppliers, ensuring adherence to contract data requirements list (CDRL).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical or related Science or Engineering discipline.
- 3-5 years' experience in R&D, or Product Development.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to contribute to a collaborative team environment.
