Responsibilities

• Oversee Engineering, Maintenance, and I&E teams.


• Lead site improvement and preventive maintenance projects.


• Manage CAPEX initiatives, budgeting, project execution, process design, equipment specification, and troubleshooting.


• Oversee maintenance budget, including inventory, tools, and vendor services.


• Conduct Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA).


• Coordinate with Production and EHS to schedule maintenance with minimal disruption.


• Track expenditures and identify cost-saving opportunities.


• Provide technical expertise for equipment failures.


• Develop maintenance strategies and manage vendor relationships.


• Ensure compliance with maintenance and engineering records.


• Collaborate with global teams on CAPEX and plant troubleshooting.

Requirements

• 10 years in mechanical, instrument, electrical, or project engineering (chemical manufacturing; polymers preferred).


• 5 years of supervisory/management experience in a plant environment.


• Experience managing a multimillion-dollar budget.


• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.


• Preferred: Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or MBA.


• Professional certification preferred.


• Ability to travel locally and internationally.

Skills

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in SAP (preferred), Microsoft Office, and the ability to read P&IDs and Isometric Drawings. Knowledge of chemical hazards, safety procedures, and maintenance best practices. Ability to work independently and collaborate across departments to achieve operational goals.
