They will serve as the key technical resource to support plant optimization efforts, participate on plant optimization teams, and demonstrate ability to deliver on complex situations or problems without guidance or supervision.

They will serve as the key technical resource to support plant optimization efforts, participate on plant optimization teams, and demonstrate ability to deliver on complex situations or problems without guidance or supervision.
Main Responsibilities:
- Serving as process engineer on capital project teams
- Using Front End Loading to define and scope projects, evaluating process engineering alternatives based on technical feasibility and economics
- Leading development of technical deliverables on key capital projects to ensure safe, workable, cost-effective solutions are being developed
Process/Engineering Flow Diagrams
Material and Energy Balances (M&EB's)
Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID's)
Scope document reports
Process requirements of new equipment/instruments
- Providing process engineering leadership supporting plant operations during commissioning and start-up
- Participating on plant optimization teams to identify opportunities for improvements in cost, capacity, environmental and safety issues
- Actively participating and contributing to all safety programs to continually improve the safety culture of the Company
- Demonstrating ability to deliver on complex situations or problems without guidance or supervision
- Identifying and solving problems and enabling successful projects
- Partnering with Project Manager and plant representative(s) to build a cohesive project team
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering required
- Minimum of 7 years of experience required
- Experience in Chemical and related industries required
