What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Payroll Specialist position at Advantex Professional Services?
We are currently seeking a Certified Payroll Specialist for a direct hire opportunity located in Anaheim.
Must have certified payroll/prevailing wage experience and must have LCP Tracker experience.
Position will be working onsite.
Pay is $28-$32 per hour
Key Duties for the Certified Payroll Specialist:
- Will be responsible for uploading payroll reports for all jobs through LCP Tracker
- Will review internal and subcontractors certified payroll reports for compliance
- Ensure compliance with verification of prevailing wages, craft classifications and fringe benefits
- Perform audits of certified payroll and collect, review and analyze records and supporting documents for accuracy
- Maintain the complete and accurate records for all projects, including DAS 140, DAS 142, exemption letters and DAS 7 fringe benefits statements
Key Requirements for the Certified Payroll Specialist:
- High School Diploma
- 1-2 years of certified payroll experience
- Experience with LCP Tracker, DAS 140 and Das 142
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and strong problem solver
- Prelim and lien release experience is a plus
- Must work in office 5 days a week, no remote
