Staff Accountant

Job Title: Staff Accountant (1-3 years of experience)

Location: Carson, CA (On-site)
Pay Rate: $30.00 - $34.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our client's team in Carson. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general ledger accounting, a solid understanding of debits and credits, and advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Prepare and post journal entries
• Analyze financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Assist in month-end close processes
• Prepare financial reports and assist in budgeting
• Utilize Excel for data analysis and reporting
• Collaborate with other departments to support financial operations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Proven experience in general ledger accounting
• Strong understanding of debits and credits
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
• Effective communication skills
