Seasonal Yard Coordinator
Role Summary
Our client seeks a Seasonal Yard Coordinator to join their busy team this holiday season. The Yard Coordinator plays a critical role in the coordination and tracking of the movement of trailers in and out of the yard facility, as well as overseeing the yard workers' movement. Seasonal Yard Coordinators also work with incoming drivers to ensure smooth traffic flow in and out of the facility.
Key Results Area
Check-in vendors and drivers when they arrive
Work with management and the yard switchers in the unloading area to coordinate trailer movement, con gear placement, and ensure proper dock setup
Perform thorough yard checks
Provide reports detailing all trailer pick-ups
Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or GED is preferred
At least one year of leadership experience
Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook
Solid communication skills
