Summary
As an Accounting Assistant at Advent Communications Inc., you will play a vital role in supporting our financial operations. Responsibilities
- Support tax preparation activities by gathering necessary documentation and data.
- Perform general ledger reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
- Utilize accounting software such as Quick Books Online and our CRM software, ConnectWise for client data entry and reporting.
- Maintain organized records of financial transactions and documentation.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to improve processes and efficiencies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably as an Accounting Assistant.
- Strong knowledge of accounts receivable and payables, sales tax regulations, and general accounting principles.
- Familiarity with accounting software such as Quick Books Online is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to perform double entry bookkeeping accurately.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients.
