Our dedicated, expert team at AdventHealth South Overland Park, formerly Shawnee Mission Health – Overland Park, provides excellent care to communities of southeastern Johnson County, with 24/7 emergency room services, an advanced imaging center, physical therapy and more.

The role you’ll contribute:

The Director of Finance has financial accountability, authority and responsibility for an assigned area of AdventHealth Shawnee Mission. The Director fosters the integration of the organization’s vision and values, and accomplishes the mission and strategic plan through an accountable work team. As a member of the multidisciplinary team, the Director collaborates with patients/customers, families, physicians, administration and associates to meet customer needs and expectations in a patient focused and healing environment

The value you’ll bring to the team:

• Develop departmental goals and measures to support the medical center’s strategic plan.

• Ensures support of the hospital strategy and department goals to associates, ensuring support of the plan.

• Identifies and implements effective and innovative solutions to departmental problems.

• Ensures department/unit processes adhere to JCAHO, licensing agencies, and other regulatory standards

• Maintains current knowledge of Managed Care Plans/reimbursement protocols.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :

• Bachelor’s Degree

• 2 to 5 Years of Position-Related Experience
