Job Summary:
Acts as healthcare workforce development subject matter expert to provide analytically based strategic guidance on the development, implementation and maintenance of educational workforce development programs. Analyzes current workforce trends, identifies gaps, and develops innovative solutions to attract, retain, and develop healthcare professionals.
Job Requirements:
Education and Work Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
- Master's Degree: Preferred
- Ten years' technical experience: Preferred
- Five years of healthcare workforce development and planning experience: Preferred
- Five years' leadership experience: Preferred
Essential Functions:
- Provides strategic direction on workforce development initiatives utilizing relevant data and workforce trends. Designs programming, develops curriculum and applicable training modules, creates resources, and builds tailored playbooks.
- Applies principles of grant writing and grant execution in development and program roll out. Prepares and trains for program launch.
- Leads and monitors programming launch. Documents and advises on best practices and lessons learned from program implementation for continuous program improvement. Monitors and advises on program sustainment based on effectiveness of implemented programs. Makes data driven adjustments as needed.
- Prepares detailed reports, proposals and presentations on workforce development strategies and program outcomes.
- Acts as a project manager and maintains multiple projects simultaneously. Collaborates with relevant stakeholders and internal customers.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
