As we set our sights on rapid growth, we are seeking experienced and strategic professionals to join our team. Position Overview / Purpose : The People Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in attracting and retaining top talent while ensuring a positive and engaging work environment. This position is responsible for full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, and various HR generalist functions, including benefits administration, employee engagement, and internal communications. This role requires someone who can balance strategic talent acquisition with employee-focused initiatives to support a thriving workplace culture.Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions) : Talent Acquisition & Recruiting : Develop and execute recruitment strategies to meet company hiring needs.Source candidates using a variety of methods to build a robust pipeline.Conduct full-cycle recruiting for exempt and non-exempt roles.Develop strong relationships with hiring managers to understand staffing needs.Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.Utilize the applicant tracking system and other programs (i.e., LinkedIn) to post open positions and track progress.Screen candidates and conduct initial interviews, ensuring a strong cultural and skill fit.Onboarding & Employee Experience : Manage and conduct new hire orientations, ensuring a smooth onboarding process.Facilitate new hire paperwork, system setup, and introductions.Create and distribute new hire announcements to welcome employees.Serve as a key contact for new employees, ensuring a seamless transition into the company.Support employee engagement initiatives, including team-building activities and culture programs.HR Generalist Functions : Assist employees with benefits enrollment and questions.Provide support on HR policies, procedures, and compliance matters.Maintain HR records and ensure accuracy in employee data.Support performance management and employee relations initiatives.Serve as a backup to the VP of HR and assist with HR projects as needed.Other duties as needed or required.RequirementsQualifications & Skills : Strong skills in recruiting, networking, and relationship-building.Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and best practices.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong time management and organizational abilities.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Must have a positive demeanor and be highly dependable and motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meeting challenging and changing deadlines.Passion for creating a positive and engaging workplace culture.Knowledge and experience with federal and state employment laws and legislation.
