Position Overview / Purpose :
The People Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in attracting and retaining top talent while ensuring a positive and engaging work environment. This position is responsible for full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, and various HR generalist functions, including benefits administration, employee engagement, and internal communications. This role requires someone who can balance strategic talent acquisition with employee-focused initiatives to support a thriving workplace culture.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions) :
Talent Acquisition & Recruiting :
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies to meet company hiring needs.
- Source candidates using a variety of methods to build a robust pipeline.
- Conduct full-cycle recruiting for exempt and non-exempt roles.
- Develop strong relationships with hiring managers to understand staffing needs.
- Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
- Utilize the applicant tracking system and other programs (i.e., LinkedIn) to post open positions and track progress.
- Screen candidates and conduct initial interviews, ensuring a strong cultural and skill fit.
