Reporting to the Director of People Operations, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our team member experiences by managing key processes and supporting our vibrant company culture. Please note that this role is an on-site role, located at our headquarters in Mason, Ohio.
Key Responsibilities
People Operations:
- Serve as the initial contact in responding to general team member questions and requests regarding benefits and policies through a shared inbox
- Own compliance process and tasks for federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to multi-state Income Tax Withholding and Unemployment Insurance Tax registrations
- Assign policy documents, training, and track completion in HRIS
- Regularly update content within internal SharePoint
- Own tracking of team member life events such as birthdays and anniversaries and proactive gift process management
- Collaborate with cross-functional team for company event planning and execute plans for events
- Run reports, assist with research, and other duties as needed
Benefits:
- Assist with the administration and coordination of team member benefits programs (such as health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives), and collaborate with third-party vendors as needed
- Complete HSA bimonthly deposits and ensure reporting is complete, confidential, and accurate
- Conduct bimonthly to quarterly audits across 401k and HSA deposits, contributions rates, and benefits premiums to ensure billing matches deductions
- Accurately maintain team member data within benefits systems and HRIS
Recruiting, Onboarding, and Offboarding:
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring teams and candidates while maintaining accurate ATS data
- Own new hire and offboarding processes including initiation of background checks, training and event scheduling, equipment shipping and tracking, survey administration, and records management
- Maintain Recruiting & Office Calendars
Office Coordination:
- Own Catering and DoorDash orders for a variety of in-office events
- Track, order, and restock office supplies as needed
- Own and communicate delivery and shipment logistics
- Light office maintenance and cleaning (in between cleaning company visits)
- Other administrative duties as needed
Requirements
- 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment on a small People Operations or HR team
- 2 years of experience using applicant tracking systems and HRIS systems (Paylocity preferred, but not required)
- 1 year of experience administering and enrolling team members in benefits platforms
- 1 year of experience creating and improving processes and documentation
- 1 year of experience using Excel or databases with formulas for large datasets with strong attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion
- Experience in customer support or customer experience will be beneficial in this role but is not required
- Experience managing multiple calendars (Outlook preferred)
