Accounts Receivable Associate – Real Estate – Hybrid
A privately-held Real Estate Investment firm with $10Bn in high-quality real estate assets is searching for an AR Specialist to join their team to assist in all facets of processing receivables and client communication.
The company operates on a hybrid basis, 3 days in-office per week in their Midtown, Manhattan office. They offer excellent work-life balance with a workday that ends promptly at 5pm year-round.
Responsibilities:
- Supervising the process of posting customer payments
- Taking ownership of the collection process and the accounts receivable aging report
- Overseeing unresolved chargebacks and customer account reconciliations
- Reporting collection issues to the management
- Reviewing accounts receivable aging reports to address past-due issues
- Reconciling AR transactions at the end of each month
- Managing the accrual of bad debt with the Controller
- Managing customer credit allowances in a proficient manner.
Qualifications:
- Capable of handling customer and vendor concerns with a high level of professionalism
- 1 year of AR experience
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Proficient in MS Office (sharp Excel skills)
- Possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Base Salary: $55,000 - $60,000
