Job Summary:
The Ultrasound Technologist will be responsible for performing comprehensive non-invasive, invasive and vascular procedures to demonstrate (OB/GYN) anatomy under investigation. The successful candidate will provide physiologic assessment of OB/GYN vasculature and fetal well-being, and independently provide technically optimal, complete and accurate images for diagnosis of the high-risk OB/GYN patient.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide physiologic assessment of OB/GYN vasculature and fetal well-being
- Independently provide technically optimal, complete and accurate images for diagnosis of the high-risk OB/GYN patient
- Combine clinical history while performing sonographic study to summarize findings of the study and document information/action to the appropriate physician
The ideal candidate will have a competent understanding and operation of ultrasound equipment, and be able to perform start-up and shut down procedures on all equipment. Additionally, they will be able to operate all ultrasound equipment in a competent manner, and handle all equipment with care.
Requirements:
- ARDMS-Registered in OB
- Certified in performing Nuchal Translucency within 6 months
- CPR certification
- Graduate of AMA approved school of ultrasound
- 2 years OB/GYN experience
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:
