**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a per diem/prn Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. The ideal candidate will have experience in ultrasound scanning and be able to position patients, operate equipment, and assist physicians with procedures.
Main Responsibilities:
- Positioning patients and operating equipment to obtain optimal quality scans
- Assisting physicians with procedures and providing patient history for each procedure
- Maintaining positive guest relations and ensuring compliance with safety standards
- Documenting department records and maintaining accurate patient information
- Participating in safety initiatives and attending mandatory meetings
Requirements:
- 6 months of scanning experience
- ARDMS registration and CPR certification
- Able to work flexible hours, including odd hours and on-call shifts
- Able to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance
- Ability to practice high-quality patient care and technical competence
