Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive non-invasive, invasive, and vascular procedures to demonstrate OB/GYN anatomy under investigation.
• Provide physiologic assessment of OB/GYN vasculature and fetal well-being.
• Independently provide technically optimal, complete, and accurate images for diagnosis of the high-risk OB/GYN patient.
• Combine clinical history with sonographic study to summarize findings of the study and document information/action to the appropriate physician.
• Enter summary of findings onto the Perinatal computer network, requiring advanced knowledge of operation of both computer hardware and software.

Requirements

• ARDMS-Registered in OB.
• Certified in performing Nuchal Translucency within 6 months.
• CPR certification.
• Graduate of AMA-approved school of ultrasound.
• 2 years of OB/GYN experience.
• Ability to become proficient in fetal echos within 1 year of hire date.
