Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health in Justice, Illinois.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive non-invasive and invasive procedures to demonstrate OB/GYN anatomy under investigation.
- Provide physiologic assessment of OB/GYN vasculature and fetal well-being.
- Independently provide technically optimal, complete, and accurate images for diagnosis of the high-risk OB/GYN patient.
- Combine clinical history with sonographic study to summarize findings and document information/action to the appropriate physician.
Requirements
- ARDMS-Registered in OB
- Certified in performing Nuchal Translucency within 6 months
- CPR certification
- Graduate of AMA-approved school of ultrasound
- 2 years of OB/GYN experience
- Ability to become proficient in fetal echos within 1 year of hire date
Preferred Skills
- Good skills in OB/GYN and pelvic ultrasound exams
- Good skills in endovaginal scanning
- Good skills in OB/GYN color duplex scanning
- Good knowledge of pathology in high-risk OB/GYN imaging
