About the Role
As a valued member of this prominent practice group, you will handle a diverse portfolio of high-profile environmental litigation matters, regulatory compliance, and enforcement defense. You will advise clients across industries, including heavy industry, defense, chemical manufacturing, and maritime, on emerging environmental concerns, liability exposure, and complex regulatory frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in matters involving key environmental statutes, including CERCLA, RCRA, and California-specific laws.
- Provide strategic advice on regulatory compliance, enforcement actions, cost recovery, permitting, and public relations concerns.
- Collaborate with technical experts, including environmental consultants, on matters involving remediation and environmental operations.
- Negotiate agreements relating to compliance and cost recovery while mitigating liability exposure.
