Job Description

We are currently searching for an Administrative Assistant in our Edmonton office. 

This position will involve a range of administrative and office support activities to facilitate the efficient operation of our office. As the ideal candidate, you are an excellent communicator with effective organizational skills, and an exceptional work ethic. Your abilities will be strengthened through the variety of activities and projects with which you will be involved. This position will also provide you with autonomy as you will be required to complete tasks with minimal supervision.

Your responsibilities will include:
•    Managing incoming phone calls at the front desk.
•    Booking and scheduling appointments.
•    Greeting, assisting, and directing guests.
•    Entering and processing data. 
•    Receiving, sorting, and distributing mail and packages.
•    Organizing courier shipping and deliveries.
•    Managing supplies (office, safety, etc).
•    Completing accounting recoveries.
•    Arranging catering and maintaining office and board rooms. 
•    Participating in other administrative duties such as assisting in preparing reports and presentations, document control, purchase orders and records management, and event planning, as required.

Job Requirements

What you will bring:
•    Minimum of 2 years’ administrative or similar experience. 
•    Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams and other office software.
•    Excellent oral and written communication skills.
•    Highly detail oriented and accurate.
•    Demonstrated ability to work independently with little supervision.
•    Ability to multi-task and work with deadlines.

Post-Secondary Diploma
