In this role, you will play a critical part in bringing unique visions to life, drafting detailed plans for custom homes, remodels, and additions. Utilizing AutoCAD, you will work closely with architects, designers, and construction teams to produce accurate, high-quality drawings that serve as the foundation for exceptional projects. Your residential design skills will be enhanced, and you will become an authority in custom residential houses.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop detailed residential construction drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details, using AutoCAD
- Interpret design concepts and translate them into technical drawings that meet project specifications, building codes, and zoning requirements
- Collaborate with architects, designers, and project managers to refine designs and incorporate client feedback
- Assist in preparing permit and construction documentation for new homes, remodels, and additions
- Maintain organized records of project files and revisions to ensure seamless communication across departments
