Human Resources Generalist

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist with 1-3 years of experience in the manufacturing sector. This role will be the primarily team member focusing on employee onboarding and data management. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in employee engagement, company initiatives and payroll completion. Expectations for all HR team members are that they possess the expertise to drive organizational effectiveness and support business objectives and collaborate with various departments to implement HR initiatives that enhance employee engagement, performance, and compliance

Responsibilities

• Manage the onboarding process of all new hires.
• Maintain payroll and generate reporting
• Monitor HSA contributions
• All employee 401K enrollment.
• Conduct or acquire background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
• Maintain employee record keeping.
• Transfer information and test new HRIS/ATS system
• Staying up to date on employment laws and keeping the organization compliant with laws and regulations
• Organize and host employee engagement events
• Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts through effective communication and mediation. Foster a positive work environment by promoting employee engagement initiatives.
• Support leadership development initiatives to build a strong management pipeline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Human Resources, or related area
• 1 years' of experience working in Human Resources
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
• Proven experience in conflict resolution and employer relations.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
