About Aerial Recovery
Aerial Recovery is a veteran-led nonprofit on a mission to tackle disaster response, human trafficking rescue, and Veteran Rehabilitation. Founded by warriors who’ve seen the worst and choose to fight it, we deploy elite teams to save lives and rebuild hope. This isn’t a 9-to-5—it’s a calling for those who thrive in the fire.
The Role
I’m the Co-Founder and COO of Aerial Recovery—a former Green Beret wired for action, relentless focus, and big-picture impact. I’m looking for an Executive Assistant to be my right hand, my co-pilot, my force multiplier. This isn’t about fetching coffee—it’s about keeping me locked on target while I lead high-stakes missions and push this organization to new heights.
You’ll manage the chaos of my world—deployments, strategy sessions, community outreach—and help me harness my drive to save more lives. If you’re organized, unflappable, and ready to run with a Special Forces mindset, you’re who I need in my wolf pack.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Backbone: Own my schedule—missions, meetings, travel—so I can focus on leading teams and executing plans.
- Mission Prep: Anticipate what’s next—whether it’s intel for a rescue op, logistics for a disaster zone, or connecting with local leaders in Miami or Nashville.
- Tactical Execution: Handle emails, follow-ups, and coordination with Aerial Recovery’s crew, partners, and stakeholders—keeping the machine running smooth.
- Shield: Filter out noise, manage demands, and protect my time so I can stay in the fight where it counts.
- Field Research: Dig into operational needs—disaster data, trafficking patterns, or community contacts—delivering quick, actionable insights (often in English and Spanish).
- Pack Builder: Link me with the right people—team members, donors, allies—amplifying our mission’s reach.
- Steady Presence: Bring calm to my storm, with the grit to call it like you see it and the heart to cheer the wins.
Who You Are
- Squared Away: You’ve got a system for everything—calendars, tasks, details—and you make it look easy.
- Rock Solid: Chaos doesn’t shake you—whether it’s a hurricane response or a midnight pivot, you’re steady.
- Quick Adapter: You roll with sudden shifts—like a Green Beret adapting to the battlefield—and keep pace with my energy.
- Ahead of Me: You see what’s coming—needs, risks, opportunities—and you’re already on it.
- Driven Ally: You get my restless drive, my need to act, and you’re here to fuel it with precision, not slow it down.
- Spanish Speaker: Fluency in Spanish is a huge edge—whether it’s Miami’s streets, Nashville’s communities, or a crisis in Latin America.
Qualifications
- Experience: Preferred 3 years as an executive assistant, project coordinator, or similar—bonus if it’s in high-octane settings like military ops, nonprofits, or startups.
- Location: Must live in Miami, FL or Nashville, TN (or relocate ASAP). Local ties to the city are a plus.
- Language: Fluent English required; strong Spanish skills (spoken and written) highly preferred.
- Tech: Sharp with Microsoft 360, Align, Salesforce tools like Asana or Trello—and fast at picking up whatever I throw at you.
- Grit: Ready for long hours or high-pressure moments—matching the tempo of a former Green Beret turned COO.
- Heart: You believe in Aerial Recovery’s fight—disaster relief, rescue, resilience—and you’re all in.
Why Join Me?
You’ll stand shoulder-to-shoulder with a team of veterans and doers who run toward the hard stuff. This is your shot to back a leader who’s lived the chaos of war and now channels it to save lives—and to be part of something bigger than yourself. You’ll shape Aerial Recovery’s future while keeping me at peak performance.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: Starting $50,000–$60,000 per year, based on experience
- Benefits: Travel, (Insurance to be discussed)
- Flexibility: Hybrid work in Miami and worldwide—be where I need you when I need you
- Purpose: Chance to join missions (if you’ve got the chops) and see the impact up close
