You will leverage your strong collaboration skills and ability to extract valuable insights from complex agriculture data sets to ask the right questions and find the right answers. aerialPLOT is pushing the boundaries of field research analytics and the speed at which new products can be developed and enter the market.
Responsibilities
- Analyze raw agriculture research data: assessing quality, cleansing, structuring
- Perform client reviews of data sets
- Design accurate and scalable prediction algorithms
- Collaborate with the software team to bring analytical prototypes to production
- Generate actionable insights based upon remote sensing data and geospatial/temporal analytics
- Translate digital phenotypes into simple product descriptors to help facilitate product development
Qualifications
- Minimum bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in quantative field (Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, etc.)
- At least 2 years' of experience in quantitative agriculture data analytics and/or data modeling
- Deep understanding of predictive modeling, machine-learning, clustering and classification techniques, and algorithms
- Fluency in a programming language (Python or R)
- Significant experience in agriculture research required
Preference is towards candidates located in Minnesota but exception remote candidates will be considered.
