Position Summary
The Director of IT is the primary point of contact of all companywide IT initiatives. This position has the responsibility to serve as the strategic and tactical interface across all business units by managing IT infrastructure, services, and security. The Director of IT is a pivotal role that requires a deep understanding of technology, strong leadership and communication skills, and ability to align IT initiatives with business goals.

- Primary point of contact for all company IT operations including system administration, helpdesk support and IT infrastructure.
- Oversees, develops, and ensures scalability and reliability of employee facing technology platforms, audio / visual equipment, and Active Directory infrastructure.
- Creates and aligns the technology and information road map, policies, best practices, and budget to the company's business plans, and continuously monitors and adjusts to changing business and environmental conditions.
- Ensures the company's data remains secure by keeping up to date on the latest cybersecurity threats and findings and implementing preventative measures.
- Maintain an effective Disaster Recovery Plan which includes regular, cyclical testing.
- Develop and maintain clear procedures and successfully tested execution of backup and recoverability of data and infrastructure.
- Proactively monitor all systems access for irregularities. Re-access security practices and recommend improvements where necessary.
- Ensures technology remains in compliance with security and data privacy laws, policies, standards including accessibility, vulnerability, and website inventory management.
- Leads contract negotiations and overall vendor management of the company's technology hardware, software, mobile and field technology, and cloud or 3rd party providers, while always driving for cost control and resource optimization.
- Reviews and analyzes the effectiveness and efficiency of existing solutions and develops strategies and / or new proposed tools and applications for improvement.
- Manage installations and maintenance of all computer resources.
- Communicate effectively and efficiently with internal and external customers, providing solutions whenever needed (24 / 7).
- Maintain a collaborative, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers and colleagues.
- Maintain reliable, regular, and predictable attendance.
- Successful completion and favorable results of pre-employment drug screen and criminal history background check.
- Adhere to all Aero Air policies and standards of conduct.
- Other duties as directed.
