ATS Flight School is seeking a Part Time, dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our team. This position serves as the front line for our flight school, ensuring the customers receive exceptional service while maintaining a high level of security at our facility. You will play a vital role in answering customer inquiries, managing administrative tasks, and supporting the flight school's daily operations.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients at the front desk, providing a friendly, helpful and professional atmosphere.
- Answer phones, respond to emails, and customer walk-ins promptly and professionally.
- Dispatch and check-in aircraft in accordance with operational procedures.
- Process sales of flight lessons, supplies, merchandise, gift certificates, and other services.
- Support clients in operating scheduling software and provide training.
- Follow airport security procedures to ensure the safety and security of all aircraft and the facility.
- Communicate with prospective and current clients regarding flight training services and company offerings.
- Ensure client invoices are accurate.
- Participate in shift rotations with other customer service team members to cover evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Send daily shift updates to the team and document any important changes.
- Maintain the integrity and accuracy of all client data and accounts.
- Demonstrate a passion for aviation and assist in fostering a positive, inclusive environment for all clients.
- Be proactive in anticipating the needs of customers and instructors and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Routine administrative and data entry tasks.
- Support leadership with various administrative and operational tasks as needed.
- Light housekeeping around the office as needed.
Qualifications
- Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a desire to engage with customers.
- Excellent phone etiquette and excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
- Ability to work effectively with a wide range of people, including clients, colleagues and vendors.
- Willingness to learn and gain knowledge about aviation operations, including scheduling and conducting flight training in light aircraft. (For example: Weather and maintenance considerations.)
- Customer-oriented with problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information.
- Must be available for shifts that include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must have reliable transportation.
