DIRECTOR OF QUALITY

Job Description
Seeking a Director of Quality to manage and ensure high quality and efficiency in daily work operations while maintaining safety regulations and requirements.
Responsibilities:
Direct of Quality will ensure compliance with and oversight of all applicable certifications:
o FAA 145 Repair Station
o EASA Part 145
o AS9110 quality system
o ITAR
o DOT (PHMSA)
o FAA Part 21
o FAA Product Approval Holder (PAH)
- Liaise with the relevant regulatory bodies including FAA
- Budgetary responsibility with accountability to the VP/GM and Controller.
- Responsibility for organizing and executing inside and outside audits.
- Maintain AeTR’s Repair Station and Fabrication Quality Control Manuals
- Responsible for CAR and Warranty programs.
- Ensure all employees comply with the relevant quality system manuals.
- Develop KPI’s to monitor all aspects of the quality system – provide monthly feedback to management team & host Annual Management Review.
- Drive continuous improvement of the quality system
- Develop and implement robust training programs for all aspects of the quality system
- Maintain the approved supplier list
Requirements:
At least 10 years of component repair and overhaul experience.
-3-5 years of quality management or similar within an aerospace repair station or manufacturing environment.
-FAA A&P certification – Preferred
-Meet hiring requirements, including drug screen and background check.
-Must have a strong understanding of applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, inspection methods and equipment used to determine airworthiness including reviewing and interpreting both FAA and Military maintenance manuals
-Strong problem-solving skills
-Excellent interpersonal skills
-Proficient in all MS Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
-Must meet ITAR oversight citizenship requirements.
