Job Summary:
The Director of Operations is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing and optimizing a wide range of administrative and operational functions to ensure the efficient and effective running of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Benefits and technology administration and enrollment/removals.
- Working with vendors (eg. ADP, Blue Cross Blue Shield, etc.) to ensure comprehensive coverage at the best cost.
- Assist Financial Management in managing and executing ABM’s 401K program.
- Help with vendor and client management, review, analysis, and suggestions for improvements or changes (i.e. office supplies, IT, benefits, etc)
- Keep ABM up to date with programs and training including, but not limited to, OSHA, COBRA, ERISA, First Aid, and Blood Borne Pathogens, and HIPAA. Ensure appropriate ABM staff performs its responsibilities and participates in training.
- Develop and carry out an efficient electronic documentation and filing system.
- Oversee the management of office vendors and building management as needed.
- Facilitate collaboration between the logistics manager and other departments (sales, marketing, accounting) to streamline processes and ensure effective integration of logistics operations.
- Monitor and evaluate the logistics team’s performance, ensuring alignment with annual goals and strategic objectives, and make recommendations for process improvements.
- Track progress on key goals, such as inventory projections and addressing challenges and ensuring timely completion.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards for inventory and order fulfillment, conduct audits, and develop risk mitigation strategies to handle potential disruptions.
- Provide necessary resources and support for the logistics manager and prepare regular updates for senior management on logistics performance and challenges.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Communications or a related field is preferred although commensurate experience may satisfy this requirement
- Minimum of 10 years of experience of increasing responsibility in a sales-type environment
- Minimum of 3-5 years of supervisory experience
- Aesthetics, medical, or sales industry experience strongly preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Desire to be proactive and create a positive experience for others
- Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced quickly changing environment
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Experience with Sales Force and Microsoft Office Suite preferred
