Job Summary
The Airframe Structures Technician II role at AEVEX Aerospace involves performing maintenance and alteration tasks in accordance with current technical data. This includes layout, drilling, forming, and trimming aircraft sheet metal parts and assemblies for both new and repaired aircraft.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair aircraft structures in accordance with technical data and industry standards
- Perform layout and fabrication of aircraft sheet metal parts and assemblies
- Properly record work performed on maintenance records
- Execute assigned duties efficiently and effectively
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Three years of experience in aircraft structures, which is mandatory
- A & P license or military aircraft experience is highly beneficial
- Own and be able to use own tools, including drill motor, rivet gun, and set
- Knowledge of aircraft hardware, materials, and processes
- Ability to identify, install, and remove common aircraft fasteners
- Basic print reading skills and layout skills
- Strong work ethic and integrity
