HR Recruiter – Manufacturing
Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated HR Recruiter to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring top talent to support our production and corporate operations. This role requires strong communication skills, knowledge of hiring best practices, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage the end-to-end hiring process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
- Candidate Sourcing: Utilize job boards, social media, referrals, and networking to attract qualified candidates.
- Job Postings: Create and manage job advertisements on various platforms to attract diverse talent.
- Screening & Interviews: Conduct initial phone screens, schedule interviews, and collaborate with hiring managers to make hiring decisions.
- Hiring for Various Roles: Recruit for production workers, CNC machinists, engineers, quality control specialists, supervisors, sales and administrative staff.
- Employment Compliance: Ensure hiring practices comply with federal, state, and local labor laws.
- Employee Onboarding: Facilitate smooth onboarding, including paperwork, orientations, and training coordination.
- Employer Branding: Promote the company’s reputation as a great place to work through social media, career fairs, and community outreach.
- HR Support: Assist with other HR functions such as employee engagement, retention strategies, and workforce planning.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience: 2 years of recruitment experience, preferably in manufacturing or a related industry.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred but not required).
- Technology Skills: Proficiency in ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems), HRIS, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Knowledge of Labor Laws: Familiarity with EEO, FMLA, FLSA, OSHA, and other employment regulations.
- Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Comfortable handling multiple open positions and tight deadlines.
- Preferred: Experience with high-volume recruiting and bilingual proficiency (Spanish is a plus).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
