What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facility Maintenance Technician position at Affinity Health Center?
The Facility Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing and monitoring highly diversified building maintenance duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain buildings and equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes.
In addition, the Facilities Maintenance Technician participates in and monitors general housekeeping, landscaping, security and safety processes and programs. Performance of duties will be focused at the main site, with additional tasks performed as needed at satellite locations within York County. This position participates in Continuous Quality Improvement activities of the organization and the Performance Management System.
Full-Time Position (Day Shift) | $18 - $23 Per Hour

Education, Experience, and Qualifications
- High School diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) required; Certificate or Degree in related field preferred.
- Experience in general facility and equipment maintenance.
- Experience preferred with building systems including:
- Large HVAC systems
- Commercial plumbing
- Electrical including generator power systems
- Fire sprinkler systems
- Basic carpentry
- Building automation and security systems
- Working knowledge of facility equipment units, their usage, and safety procedures.
- Ability to work with computers and control interface applications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and common desktop software.
- Valid Driver’s License required.
- Knowledge of OSHA and crisis management processes preferred.
