What are the responsibilities and job description for the Private Investigator position at AFIMAC Canada?
AFIMAC is seeking licensed Private Investigators for Corporate Investigative work related to immediate and upcoming projects throughout the province of British Columbia.
You will earn:
- $30.00 to $35.00 per hour before overtime
- Mileage reimbursement
- Hotel accommodations provided when required
- $30 per diem when lodging required
- Contract length 1-120 days
AFIMAC Investigators are deployed to various types of assignments including:
- Covert surveillance operations for corporate clients and disability claims
- Maintain a high level of discretion and professionalism while in the field
- Documentation of all findings and observations in clear, concise reports
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
To be eligible to work for AFIMAC you must meet the following criteria:
- Possess a valid Private Investigator license in the province of British Columbia
- A reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
- Flexibility and a willingness to travel on short notice within your home province to projects for extended periods of time (minimum 4 week commitment)
- Flexibility in working irregular hours and varying locations
- Ability to work 12 hour shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Able to sit, walk, stand, and or drive for extended periods of time
- Able to read, write, and speak English
- Be a Canadian resident and legally entitled to work in Canada
- Previous experience dealing with confrontational situations and having the ability to de-escalate with little to no supervision
- Experience with the court injunction process
- Excellent report writing skills
