What are the responsibilities and job description for the Benefits Coordinator position at Aflac?
The Benefits Coordinator works directly with business owners to deliver voluntary benefits for their employees. It’s a key role from a well-known brand that helps owners ensure their employees can receive direct cash benefits (unless assigned otherwise) should medical events occur. You’ll manage your own time and schedule, with unlimited potential for growth, while being backed with the support of a Fortune 200 company and industry leader.
Responsibilities include:
• Work directly with employers to help solve benefits challenges with our plans and services.
• Generate sales with company-provided leads, personal networking, referrals, and cold calls.
• Conduct engaging sales presentations and enrollments at worksites and remote environments.
• Provide excellent customer service and claims support to new and existing policyholders. • Attend team meetings, product training, and mentor sessions
Qualifications
• Strong communication, networking, and relationship-building skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and positive “can do” attitude.
• Willingness to obtain a health and life insurance license if not currently licensed.
• Authorized to work in the United States without need of visa sponsorship.
• Must be at least 18 years old and pass a criminal background check.
