**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Operations Supervisor to join our team at Agcmn. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient maintenance and repair of our construction equipment fleet.
About the Role:
The Maintenance Operations Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day maintenance activities of our equipment maintenance and repair facility. This includes supervising and coordinating maintenance activities, scheduling and prioritizing repair jobs, and establishing preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities for construction equipment and vehicles.
- Schedule and prioritize repair jobs based on equipment availability, project requirements, and operational priorities.
- Establish preventive maintenance programs for all construction equipment and vehicles.
- Coordinate maintenance activities with internal mechanics, external service providers, and equipment manufacturers.
- Manage inventory levels of spare parts, tools, and supplies necessary for equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Monitor parts usage and consumption patterns, identifying opportunities for inventory optimization and cost savings.
- Enforce safety policies and procedures in the shop, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required (associate degree or technical certification in a related field preferred).
- Paving and milling equipment and operations experience is a must.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in equipment maintenance and repair, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Strong technical knowledge of construction equipment and vehicles, including diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components.
- Proficiency in equipment diagnostics and troubleshooting, using diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve equipment issues.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse workforce.
