We are looking for a highly organized and friendly Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, delivering exceptional customer support and ensuring smooth office operations. This role requires proficiency in a variety of administrative tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Greet all patients with an upbeat and positive attitude as they arrive.
- Schedule/follow up with patient appointments.
- Maintain patient accounts- update personal and financial information.
- Answer patient questions on treatment plans and payments.
- Collect payments (copay, coinsurance, any outstanding balances).
- Answer multi-line phones.
- Perform general office duties such as data entry and filing.
- Comply with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Maintain lobby and reception desk.
- Verify insurance and obtain benefits.
- Work independently and under pressure.
- All other tasks assigned by the office manager.
- Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar administrative role.
- Knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, and EHR data entry.
- Alpha and numeric keyboarding skills.
- Requires regular and consistent attendance.
- Accounts receivable and accounts payable are a plus.
- Always deliver excellent customer service.
- Ability to quickly comprehend any task once taught.
