Duties
- Maintain accurate financial records by recording all transactions, including journal entries, accounts payable, and receivable.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports to support management decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) in all accounting practices.
- Manage tax preparation and filing to ensure timely compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Utilize financial software, including Quicken, to streamline bookkeeping processes and improve efficiency.
- Perform 10 key typing for data entry tasks with precision.
- Assist in corporate accounting functions, including budgeting and forecasting.
- Collaborate with external auditors during financial audits to provide necessary documentation.
Skills
- Proficiency in tax preparation and understanding of tax regulations.
- Strong financial report writing skills to effectively communicate financial data.
- Experience with various financial software applications, particularly Quicken.
