Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the full cycle of accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of financial concepts and technical accounting skills, as well as proficiency in accounting software such as Sage. The Full Charge Bookkeeper will play a crucial role in maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and supporting overall business operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the general ledger accounting process, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial statements.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports for management review.
- Oversee account reconciliation processes to maintain accurate financial records.
- Assist with technical accounting issues and provide solutions as needed.
- Collaborate with external auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Support public accounting functions as required, including tax preparation and filing.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role in accounting or finance.
- Strong knowledge of financial concepts, general ledger accounting, and account reconciliation.
- Proficiency in Sage or similar accounting software is highly desirable.
- Experience with financial report writing and analysis.
- Familiarity with public accounting practices is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
