What are the responsibilities and job description for the Agronomy Location Operations Manager position at Agriland FS?
AGRILAND FS is a financially strong farmer-owned cooperative seeking an exceptional leader in operations.
The successful candidate will work closely with the location manager to lead the operations team and have knowledge of operating a variety of equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule, lead and perform preventative maintenance projects with team members
- Coordinate product delivery and oversee product application
- Assist with application and delivery of agronomy products
- Maintain shop tools and facilities
- Support the recruiting of operational personnel
- Train and develop team members
Requirements:
- Strong leadership and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to obtain a Class A CDL with all required endorsements
- Excellent business acumen with experience in budgeting and inventory management
- Mechanical aptitude with excellent problem-solving skills
- Effective operation of all equipment at the facility
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask
- Experience or strong understanding of Ag Retail preferred
