As a Regional Leader, you will be responsible for forming deep relationships with our top 20 accounts to help maximize profits with these key growers, as well as coach and develop our agronomy sales team to help grow our market share and overall profitability.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Identify areas to improve the grower market share and provide initiative-taking and strategic solutions to team.
- Develop individual business plans for each sales agronomist.
- Monitor execution of business plan and provide quarterly updates/forecast.
- Promote Product Management Interaction & collaborate on strategy.
- Coach and provide feedback to effectively and constructively enable individuals to achieve high performance and certification.
- Continually recruit new talent by attending industry events.
- Work collaboratively with agronomy leadership team and other area leader’s to increase market penetration and marketshare.
- Develop individual business plans for each sales agronomist.
- Monitor execution of business plan and provide quarterly updates/forecasts.
- Promote key supplier interactions.
- Minimum of 3 days er week making farm sales calls with team members.
- Planning and successful execution of business and action plans.
- Capitalize on unique market opportunities the differentiate AgState.
- Conduct in-field ride alongs with staff and assist in the pre-call planning and post call debriefs.
EDUCATION AND REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree or 10 years related experience.
- Knowledge of agriculture and particular disciplines in retails agronomy is a plus.
- Elite culturalist that works to embrace and lead change that will have a positive impact on our customers.
- Valid Iowa Driver’s license.
