Gardener/Support Staff
Have a green thumb itching to work on a commercial property? Come grow with us and work in a fun, energetic environment! Be a friendly, helpful face able to encourage fun and engaging play for families. We are educating children in a world of discovery, curiosity, and imagination through hands-on play.
This is a part-time position. Flexible hours between 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM Tuesday-Saturday.
Primary job duties: Upkeep and maintenance of AHA! garden beds and outside walkways. Planning, weeding, planting, and harvesting. Helping small children discover the joy in gardening. Customer service, operating point of sale, and maintaining a clean environment for guests. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Ability to explain gardening concepts to guests is a plus. Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds, use garden tools, work outside in a variety of weather conditions, use a broom or vacuum, bend and reach, and stand for several hours at a time. Ability to tolerate a noisy work environment and calmly interact with families is necessary.
Pay: $12.00 per hour.
Candidates must be willing to submit to a background check as part of the employment process.
