Support Staff
Come work in a fun, energetic environment! Be a friendly, helpful face able to encourage fun and engaging play for families. We are educating children in a world of discovery, curiosity, and imagination through hands-on play.
This is a part-time position. Hours are scheduled between 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM every day of the week.
Primary job duties: Provide a warm and friendly environment for guests. Customer service. Welcome and admit guests and members. Promote a clean, safe, and comfortable environment by picking up accessories, sweeping and mopping floors, sanitizing exhibits and play areas, wiping and dusting exhibits and tables and helping with proper upkeep of water table. Data entry. Filing. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds, use a broom or vacuum, bend and reach, and stand for several hours at a time. Ability to tolerate a noisy work environment and calmly interact with families is necessary.
Pay: $12.00 per hour.
Two letters of reference are required. Candidates age 18 and older must be willing to submit to a background check as part of the employment process.
