Accounting Assistant

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and motivated individual to join AHRMA as an Assistant Accountant. Our Ideal candidate is someone with a strong foundation in Accounting, as well as be proficient in financial software applications.

Responsibilities
- Maintain accounts receivable schedules and journal
- Follow accounting rules and regulations, as well as AHRMA policy and procedures'.
- Collecting and analyzing data in a variety of reports, as well as ensuring their accuracy.
- Ensuring compliance with GAAP standards.
- Preparation of various financial and regulatory reports
- Assuming responsibility for related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Associates Degree from accredited college/university or equivalent combination of education and related experience
- Knowledge of accounting practices and procedures
- Knowledge of applicable laws, codes and regulations
- Knowledge and experience with related computer applications
- High level of integrity and accuracy required
- Excellent communication and organizational skills

- Ability to prepare memos and reports using proper punctuation, spelling, and grammar.

- Basic math skills, use of decimals to compute ratios and percentages, creating and interpreting graphs.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
