The purpose of this position is to perform administrative duties to coordinate and delegate tasks associated with recruitment, work and retention of all poll workers. This position will also act as an outreach specialist for the community conducting poll workers drives, voter education, etc. and serve as part of the front office administrative staff under the direction of Officer Manager.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Recruit poll workersAssign appropriate number of workers to precincts based on voter totalsAssign early voting clerks and workersConduct training classes or ensure trainer for all early vote and election day poll managers and clerksSet up training events in VREMS and keep current as poll workers sign up for trainingSet up online poll manager training for workers desiring to do soPayroll for all poll workersEnsure all proper paperwork is done for each worker and turn into Human Resources prior to any electionEnter workers in Integra and VREMS databaseImplement ways to recruit poll workersWork with delegation for any bills on poll workersEstablish and maintain policies and procedures for all poll worker processes including recruitment, training, work history, etc.Maintain Intergra software database and all updatesUpkeep of clerk binders, paperwork, oaths and forms, etc.Responsible for turning in poll workers to Clerk of Court's office for retention mandateEstablish relation with community and civic groups, churches, schools, etc. to plan and implement voter outreach drivesAssist Director with budget for all poll workers needs for present and future electionsKeep Director up to date on required and confirmed workers for electionsAttend training classes and obtain certification with State Election CommissionAssist Office Manager in all administrative duties when available
