Litigation Associate

A nationally respected law firm is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate to join its team in Stamford, New Haven, or New York. About the Role:

The firm is seeking an associate with 3–5 years of experience at a leading law firm, with a focus on commercial litigation. The ideal candidate will have strong research and writing abilities, excellent academic credentials, and the ability to take ownership of matters within a collaborative team setting.

Preferred Experience Includes:

• Complex commercial litigation in state and federal courts
• Drafting pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda
• Handling discovery and case strategy
• Judicial clerkship experience is strongly preferred but not required
• Experience with matters involving contract disputes, business torts, or regulatory investigations is a plus

What They’re Looking For:

• JD from an accredited law school
• 3–5 years of litigation experience at a recognized law firm
• Strong analytical, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Ability to work both independently and within a team
• Admission to practice in the state corresponding to the office location (CT or NY)

Compensation:

• Base salary range: $180,000 – $245,000, depending on experience and location
• Additional firm-sponsored benefits and potential bonus opportunities
