Installer

Air Cleaning Technologies, Inc. is a specialized regional industrial ventilation mechanical contractor and currently has an immediate opening for an Installation Technician. Qualified applicants should have excellent mechanical assembly skills with work experience in a trade such as sheet metal, mechanical assembly, welding, HVAC, or millwright work. A Journeyman trade license is preferred but not required.
This position requires lifting, bending, climbing on ladders, scissor lift operation, driving for extended periods, and interacting with various Fire Department personnel ranging from firefighters to the City Fire Chief. This position will require some overnight travel with company paid expenses.
Successful applicants must have good work ethics, verifiable work history and references, a valid driver’s license with a clean driving history, a high school diploma or GED. Pre-employment background investigations will be requested for the successful candidate. The candidate must be comfortable working on his/her own with little supervision. He/she must also document his/her time to specific job numbers, fill out expense reports, and time sheets.

Essential Functions

• Responsible for installing vehicle exhaust and industrial filtration equipment.
• Requires measuring, cutting, drilling, use of scissor lift and boom.
• Responsible for following company and customer safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain and comply with company vehicle maintenance policy and procedures.
• Installer will have strong technical and mechanical aptitude.
• Installer shall have familiarity with basic tools and maintain ability to transport both equipment and tools to customer sites.
• Electronically transferring customer and company information.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Overnight travel on a weekly basis is required.
• Qualifications
• Experience in repair and maintenance.
• Technical school degree preferred.
• General Computer Skills required.
• Microsoft Office experience preferred.
• Must have good verbal and written skills
• A clean driving record and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Physical requirements include ability to bend, squat, walk with heavy equipment, climb ladders, and lift 70 pounds
• Valid driver’s license
• Must be at least 21 years old

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
