The Director of FP&A is a key member of the financial organization of the Company reporting directly to the CFO in a high-growth, private-equity sponsored company. ACIS is a Commercial HVAC platform company that has experienced tremendous organic growth and is ramping up M&A activity to accelerate in-organic growth. The FP&A role is pivotal to the Company and its ability to scale as the role oversees and owns the critical areas of finance including : financial planning, financial analysis, financial reporting, treasury-related tasks (including cash forecasting), M&A pre- and post-close data / diligence reviews and performance analysis, and Path-to-Exit preparation and enablement. This is an incredible opportunity for a financial executive looking to have a big impact at a Private-Equity backed company and an opportunity to support significant M&A activity (both acquisition and a platform sale process).
Responsibilities
- Annual Budgeting process
- Ongoing business Forecasting / Reforecasting processes, including preparation and ongoing monitoring and analysis of monthly operating and financial results against Budget and Forecast(s)
- Cash Forecasting (13-week)
- Monthly Financial Package creation and compilation, including drafting of Management Discussion & Analysis (MD&A)
- In partnership with the Data Scientist role, ensure timely and accurate operational and management reporting, tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs), and trend analysis
- Preparation of ad hoc analysis to support management decision-making including in support of contract negotiations, key strategic initiatives, and other general business decisions
- Actively participating in the M&A process through diligence and model reviews (pre-acquisition) and post-mortem performance analysis and reviews (post-acquisition)
- Credit Agreement compliance calculations and related reporting
- Path-to-exit preparation and enablement
- Support financial audits and provide recommendations for improvements
- Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate department staff as the Company scales
