The primary purpose of this position is exercise 2nd level (or higher) supervisory and managerial authorities over OO-ALC. Directs work activities through subordinate supervisors/leads with responsibility for providing advice, accountability, and expertise to higher management and/or senior leadership on a continuous basis. Exercises control over the organizational element by providing direction, planning, and leadership for assigned subordinate personnel. Qualifications: - U.S. Citizenship - Obtain & maintain Security clearance - This may be a designated Drug Testing Position - Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical (if applicable) Recruitment Knowledge Skills and Abilities: 1. Knowledge of a variety of industrial engineering technician techniques and processes to include work measurement, methods improvement, engineered time standards development, Methods Time Measurement, Defense Work Methods and Standard (DWM&S), layout design and cost analysis. 2. Knowledge of safety, security, and environmental regulations, practices, and procedures. 3. Knowledge of EEO, labor management, personnel management policies, practices and procedures including the ability to adjust work operations to meet emergencies; the ability analyze plans and adjust program or production requirements within available resources and with minimum sacrifice of quantity or quality; and the ability to establish objectives or performance goals and assess progress toward their achievement. 4. Knowledge and experience with Aircraft Programs, depot maintenance operations including production planning, scheduling, and material storage/distribution, as well as, production materials and methods, concepts, practices, and techniques critical to repair, manufacturing, and modifications of major weapons systems and components, and the knowledge of mechanics and construction, maintenance and repair facility work processes and methods. 5. Ability to plan, organizes, and directs the functions and mentor, motivate, and apprise the staff of an organization.
