The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for Full-Time Supervisory Production Management Specialist (NH-1101-03) to work at Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) in the 448th Supply Chain Management Wing (SCMW) at Robins AFB in Warner Robins, Georgia. REQUIREMENTS: PRIMARY DUTIES: To serve as 1st level supervisory and position management responsibilities over subordinate employees within the 404 SCMS/GUMAAC. Directs work activities through subordinates with responsibility for maintaining a current knowledge and guiding subordinate employees to provide advice, accountability, and expertise on a continuous basis. MISSION STATEMENT: Provides organic and contract repair production management support for Automatic Test Systems (ATS), Automatic Test Equipment, Armament Test Equipment, Vehicles, Small Arms and Support Equipment to include Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE), Munitions Materiel Handling Equipment (MMHE), base support and industrial plant equipment, testers, propulsion equipment, chem bio and human performance equipment. MAJOR DUTIES: Exercises 1st level technical and administrative supervisory personnel management responsibilities for 25% or more of duty time over subordinate employees predominately in the Business and Industry Group and journey level or higher. Plans work to be accomplished by subordinate employees, sets and adjusts short and long-term priorities, and prepares schedules for completion of work. - Plans, organizes, and oversees the activities of the organization, ensuring that logistics management related operations comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meet customer needs. Develops goals and objectives that integrate organization and logistics related objectives. - Participates in special logistics related operation projects and initiatives and performs special assignments. Identifies the need for special projects and initiates milestones and goals. - Represents the organization with a variety of installation and functional area organizations. Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships. REQUIREMENTS: Conditions of Employment:

  • Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station ADDITIONAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS
  • Employee may be required to work extended or other than normal duty hours, to include evenings and weekends, and may be subject to recall. Incumbent may be required to report to work during base exercises, contingencies, or emergency situations and overtime/comp time/credit hours may be required to accomplish assigned duties.

Master knowledge of the applicable principles, concepts, policies, and laws; functions, programs, and systems applicable to the duties of position; sources, responsibilities, and means for providing assistance and advice to resolve problems; and all aspects of support. 2. Extensive knowledge of safety, security, personnel management, and EEO regulations, practices, and procedures. 3. Extensive knowledge of principles and practices of team building, developing interpersonal relationships, maintaining good working relationships, and leading members as a cooperative team. 4. Ability to plan, organize, and direct, mentor, motivate and appraise the staff of a small to medium (or large) sized organization. 5. Ability to identify, analyze, and translate complex information, make appropriate judgments, and evaluate options. 6. Ability to analyze, plan, and adjust work operations of one or more organizational segments to meet program requirements and objectives within available resources. 7. Ability to utilize AoP concepts and initiatives to plan, organize, and direct the functions and staff of an organization.
