We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stockroom Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for storing, inventorying, and issuing material, as well as compiling stock records in the stockroom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform cycle counts to ensure accuracy of inventory levels
- Weigh small parts to count and distribute into kits
- Store articles in bins, on floor, or on shelves, according to stock tags
- Issue door tags as required
- Distribute stock to production workers, keeping records of material issued
- Read and follow instructions for picking materials
- Issue material from pre-built stock inventory when possible
- Issue newly arrived components for critical parts shortages when possible
- Perform daily cycle count of selected stock items and compare to computer stock records
- Resolve discrepancies as required
- Maintain inventory and other stock records in computer and print reports
- Ensure neatness of stockroom, following 'first in, first out' procedures, and maintenance of stock locations to accommodate changes, additions and deletions
- Move or transport materials to other departments
Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Three months to two years of related experience or training; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
- CRT experience and experience with scales may be required
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure
- Ability to understand and carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
